Next door to Grafton Notch State Park

Mahoosuc Public Reserved Lands is located right next to Grafton Notch State Park.  Both areas offer some of Maine’s most spectacular backcountry and outdoor opportunities.  The region includes the Mahoosuc Mountain Range, including Old Speck Mountain at 4,180 feet in elevation.  This year-round destination offers something for every outdoor enthusiast.  One of my favorite hikes, Step Falls, is located here.  The falls are an easy 25-minute hike, great for families!
