Fourth of July at Moosehead Lake

July 3 - July 7
Downtown Greenville Greenville, ME United States + Google Map
4th of July Moosehead Lake

The Town of Greenville and Destination Moosehead Lake will once again team up to deliver a spectacular 4th of July Celebration! Join us for a full schedule of fun and celebration at Moosehead Lake. Beginning July 3rd, the Moosehead Lake Artisan Cottages will be open for the season! This is a great program showcasing some regional Maine craftspeople! Of course, there’s a parade! Starting in Greenville Junction at 11 AM, make sure you get outside early for a good seat! The parade will continue into downtown Greenville, and end with a ceremony. Join us downtown near the Steamship Katahdin, for our first Gazebo Concert of the season. There isn’t a bad place to view the annual fireworks show, beginning at dusk, when the sky will be lit with one of our favorite shows of the year! If you’re in the Rockwood area, the Birches Resort will have a celebration as well, starting with dinner service from 5-9 PM, their show will begin at dark, anchored just off their dock on Moosehead Lake. If you’d like a unique view of the annual fireworks show, board the Steamship Katahdin for their annual Fireworks Cruise! Boarding begins at 6:30, with a 7 PM departure, and expect to return around 9:30 PM. Wrap up the weekend with the American Legion Post 94’s annual breakfast from 7-10 AM. Be sure to check online for any updates to the event schedule, and we look forward to celebrating July 4th with you!
