8th Annual Bay of Fundy International MarathonSunday, 28 June 2020Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada and Lubec, Maine, USA Two Country Running Marathon – Half-Marathon – Ultramarathon – 10K – Fun Runs A set of unique races for the discerning runner: run across the Canada-USA border without stopping; no crowds; no traffic lights; no more than 350 runners in each event; beautiful scenery and the world’s biggest tides; bald eagles, seals, sometimes whales seen from the course; medals and awards handcrafted by local artists; a challenging (lots of hills) fully certified, chip-timed, Boston qualifying, not-for-profit event organized jointly by the friendly welcoming communities of Campobello Island, New Brunswick, Canada and Lubec, Maine, USA on the shores of the magnificent Bay of Fundy.

The Sebago Lake Triathlon takes place on the beautiful campus of St. Joseph’s College.  This fun, adult triathlon takes place each June. Olympic – 7:00a Sprint – 7:30a Offering both Sprint and Olympic distances race on beautiful Sebago Lake, the Sebago Lake Triathlon offers the premiere Maine race weekend. From the swim on the clean, clear water of Sebago Lake to the challenging bike course on country roads and run on trails across St. Joseph’s College, the Sebago Lake Triathlon promises you safe scenic races, great post-race barbecue, professional announcer and music and more! The Sebago Lake Triathlon will take place at St. Joseph’s College.  The Sprint race is part of the PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE AT THE COLLEGE BEFORE 5:00a PLEASE NOTE, THE TRANSITION WILL CLOSE 20 MINUTES BEFORE THE START OF EACH RACE FOR THE RESPECTIVE DISTANCES State Championships The Sebago Lake Triathlon will be the USA Triathlon (USAT) Maine State High School Championships (the sprint race is the championship) again in 2020.  While any high school athlete can compete in the championship and earn spots at the Age Group National Championship, we will crown the fastest Male and Female high school athletes in the Sprint Triathlon who are residents of Maine as the Maine State Champions.  High School Ages: USAT defines eligibility for high school students as of June 1st after 8th-grade graduation until September 1st after Senior year. Adults who are competing in the Olympic Distance event will be competing for the Maine State Championship. The Sebago Lake Triathlon will be sanctioned by USA Triathlon. If you are not an annual member of USA Triathlon, you will need to purchase a $15 one-day membership when you register.

Northern Light C.A. Dean Hospital Bike and Boat

Annual event held on the last Sunday in June. Participants ride 19.5 miles on bikes to the Rockwood Boat dock and are picked up by the historic steamship the Katahdin. This is an event that is organized by the employees of Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital with all funds benefits patient care. Family and friends ride the Katahdin from Greenville to pick up the riders and enjoy a delightful return ride.
