2019 Maine Fair Dates Calendar

 

Fair & Festival Season Starts in June!

Livestock, local food, agriculture, demolition derbies and live entertainment- these are just some of the things you will find at Maine’s fairs in 2018! Maine’s agricultural fairs and festivals have something everyone in the family will enjoy! Dates with a (*) are unconfirmed for 2018 and are estimates only. These dates will be updated as the official dates are published so check back often!

June

1 – 2 Maine Fiber Frolic @ Windsor Fairgrounds
Celebrating fiber art with demonstrations including spinning and livestock shearing. Vendors sell fiber items, fiber animal exhibits, livestock demonstrations and for sale.

13 – 16 Monmouth Fair
Small agricultural fair with midway, exhibits, crafts, and animal pulls.

28 – July 3 Northern Maine Fair @ Presque Isle
Large fair and midway, exhibits, horse pulling, harness racing, tractor pulling, demo derby.

July

4 – 7 Houlton Fair
A small fair, livestock, crafts, midway, and entertainment.

11 – 14 Ossipee Valley Fair @ South Hiram
Old-fashion fair, unique exhibits, livestock, midway, drag racing, animal pull events.

19 – 21 Waterford World’s Fair @ North Waterford
Small agricultural fair, local vendors, entertainment, and livestock petting area, local entertainment, demonstrations & exhibits.

25 – 28 Pittston Fair
Small country fair, midway, animal pulling events, games, and Strawberry Festival.

25 – Aug 3 Bangor State Fair
Large fair featuring a midway, animal exhibits, crafts, and flower show.

 

August

6 – 11 Topsham Fair
Agricultural exhibits, animal pull events, 4-H, crafts, midway and harness racing.

8 – 17 Skowhegan State Fair
Large agricultural fair featuring a huge midway, animal exhibits, crafts, flower show, animal pulls and harness racing.

17 – 24 Union Fair
Large fair famous for the State of Maine Wild Blueberry Festival. Large midway, crafts, animal pulls, shows, harness racing and demo derby.

21 – 22 Maine Farm Days @ Clinton

22 – 25 Piscataquis Valley Fair @ Dover-Foxcroft
Agricultural exhibits, milking parlor, homemade ice cream, crafts, midway, tractor pulls, demo derbies, animal pulls and stage shows.

22 – 25 Acton Fair
Outstanding exhibits, 4-H, livestock, flower show, animal pulls, midway.

25 – Sept 2 Windsor Fair
Large fair with agricultural and art/crafts exhibits. Large midway, animal pulls, harness racing, mechanical pulls, shows.

29 – Sept 2 Blue Hill Fair
Country fair featuring midway, exhibits, horse racing, animal pulls, live entertainment.

30 – Sep 2 Harmony Free Fair
Free admission and free parking, shows, animal and mechanical pulls, midway, demo derby, livestock and exhibits.

31  Springfield Fair
Stage shows, animal and mechanical pulls, antique autos, midway, livestock exhibits.

September

5 – 8 Clinton Lions Agricultural Fair
Agricultural fair with animal and mechanical pulls, excellent midway, exhibits, stage shows and woodsmen contest.

6 – 8 Litchfield Fair
Country fair with large midway, agricultural exhibits, livestock, animal pulls, and a historical fair museum.

11 – 14 Oxford County Fair
Livestock shows, animal pulls, midway, crafts, exhibits, and harness racing.

13 – 15 New Portland Lion’s Fair @ North New Portland
Midway, exhibit hall, animal and mechanical pulls, crafts, livestock, woodsmen day, and stage shows.

15 – 21 Farmington Fair
Large midway, exhibits, livestock, animal pulls, harness racing, and demolition derby.

20 – 22 Common Ground Fair @ Unity
Celebrating rural life, demonstrations, Maine organic produced foods, crafts and livestock exhibits.

22 – 28 Cumberland Fair @ Cumberland Center
Large exhibit halls, midway, livestock, animal pulls and harness racing.

29 – October 6 Fryeburg Fair
Maine’s largest agricultural fair in a beautiful area during foliage season featuring exhibit halls, museum, harness racing and livestock shows.
