2017 Maine Fair Dates and Festival Schedule

Livestock, local food, agriculture, demolition derbies and live entertainment- these are just some of the things you will find at Maine’s fairs in 2017!  Maine’s agricultural fairs have something everyone in the family will enjoy!  

June

3 – 4 Maine Fiber Frolic at Windsor Fairgrounds
Celebrating fiber art with demonstrations including spinning and livestock shearing. Vendors sell fiber items, fiber animal exhibits, livestock demonstrations and for sale.
23 – 24 Maple Meadow Fair Festival at Mapleton, Maine
Agricultural fair featuring rural farm demonstrations, exhibits, 4-H, hay rides, horse drawn wagon rides, antique farm equipment displays and educational exhibits.

July

1 – 4 Houlton Fair 
A small fair, livestock, crafts, midway, and entertainment.
6 – 9 Ossipee Valley Fair in South Hiram, Maine
Old-fashion fair, unique exhibits, livestock, midway, drag racing, animal pull events.
14 – 16 Waterford World’s Fair in North Waterford, Maine
Small agricultural fair, local vendors, entertainment, and livestock petting area, local entertainment, demonstrations & exhibits.
20 – 23 Pittston Fair 
Small country fair, midway, animal pulling events, games, and Strawberry Festival.
28 – Aug 6 Bangor State Fair 
Large fair featuring a midway, animal exhibits, crafts, and flower show.
28 – Aug 5 Northern Maine Fair in Presque Isle, Maine
Large fair and midway, exhibits, horse pulling, harness racing, tractor pulling, demo derby.

August

2 – 5 Monmouth Fair 
Small agricultural fair with midway, exhibits, crafts and animal pulls.
6 – 13 Topsham Fair 
Agricultural exhibits, animal pull events, 4-H, crafts, midway and harness racing.
10 – 19 Skowhegan State Fair 
Large agricultural fair featuring a huge midway, animal exhibits, crafts, flower show, animal pulls and harness racing.
23 – 24 Maine Farm Days in Clinton, Maine
19 – 26 Union Fair 
Large fair famous for the State of Maine Wild Blueberry Festival. Large midway, crafts, animal pulls, shows, harness racing and demo derby.
24 – 27 Piscataquis Valley Fair in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine
Agricultural exhibits, milking parlor, homemade ice cream, crafts, midway, tractor pulls, demo derbies, animal pulls and stage shows.
24 – 27 Acton Fair 
Outstanding exhibits, 4-H, livestock, flower show, animal pulls, midway.
26 & 27 Pembroke Farm & Horse Fair @ Pembroke Maine
Aug 27 – Sept 4 Windsor Fair

September

1 – 4 Harmony Free Fair 
Free admission and free parking, shows, animal and mechanical pulls, midway, demo derby, livestock and exhibits.
7 – 10 Clinton Lions Agricultural Fair 
Agricultural fair with animal and mechanical pulls, excellent midway, exhibits, stage shows and woodsmen contest.
8 – 10 Litchfield Fair 
Country fair with large midway, agricultural exhibits, livestock, animal pulls, and a historical fair museum.
9 Cornish Horsemen’s Day 
Celebrating the Harness racing industry and history.
13 – 16 Oxford County Fair
